YOUR ROLE
CEVA Logistics is seeking an experienced Air Exports Operator to join our team in Hounslow, managing air export shipments from start to finish. Working closely with customers and our global network, you’ll ensure shipments are handled efficiently, meet regulatory requirements and deliver excellent customer service.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
Taking ownership of air export shipments from collection through to arrival, you’ll arrange collections, book cargo with airlines and coordinate movements in line with customer standard operating procedures.
Responsibilities include preparing and processing export documentation, including Master Air Waybills (MAWBs) for business-to-business and consolidation shipments, and completing accurate export customs declarations in line with HMRC requirements.
Keeping customers informed at each milestone, you’ll work closely with overseas offices, airlines, handling agents and internal teams to monitor progress, resolve issues and keep shipments on track. Maintaining accurate shipment records, costing and billing will also form part of your role, ensuring both operational and financial accuracy.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
You’ll bring previous experience in air freight export operations, with a strong understanding of export documentation, customs declarations and airline bookings. Experience handling aerospace, retail, time-critical or general cargo shipments would be advantageous.
Organised and proactive, you’ll be comfortable managing competing priorities in a busy environment, with excellent attention to detail and clear communication skills. Confidence using freight management systems is essential, with CargoWise experience beneficial.
Due to the nature of the role and its security clearance requirements, the successful candidate must have resided in the UK for a minimum of five years.
WHAT DO WE HAVE TO OFFER?
With a genuine culture of reward and recognition, we want our employees to grow, develop and be part of our journey. We offer a benefits package that includes competitive annual leave entitlement with a fantastic holiday buy scheme, pension and life assurance, along with access to an employee benefits platform that offers discounts and money-off vouchers for a diverse range of retail, travel and hospitality brands.
There’s no doubt that you will be compensated for your hard work and commitment, so if you’d like to work for one of the top logistics providers in the world, please get in touch to find your next role.
