Pay Range: $112k - $117k

 

YOUR ROLE

 

The Network & Security Infrastructure Engineer is responsible for managing and supporting the enterprise physical security and network infrastructure across over 100 facilities. This role combines network engineering, system administration, and physical security system integration to ensure reliable communication, uptime, and secure access for critical systems including video management, access control, and SIOC operations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Cisco Meraki, Palo Alto, and Azure network environments, as well as working knowledge of physical security platforms such as Lenel, Avigilon, Verkada, or ProWatch.

 

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

  • Conduct regular inspections/audits to ensure adherence to the CEVA Security Policies and Procedures
  • Manage and administer the Network platform, including switches, routers, wireless access points, and firewalls. Ensure network stability, security, and optimal performance across all devices.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers, ensuring performance meets contractual obligations and service level agreements. Collaborate with IT teams, vendors, and integrators to implement upgrades, coordinate rollouts, and ensure adherence to infrastructure standards.
  • Perform firewall maintenance for multiple platforms, including policy updates, NAT configuration, and firmware upgrades.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex network, VPN, and connectivity issues across the entire environment, including endpoints, network infrastructure, latency, access control systems, servers, and virtual machines. Utilize diagnostic tools, packet analysis, and systematic problem-solving to identify root causes and restore optimal performance.
  • Design, implement, and maintain secure network infrastructure supporting physical security systems and video management systems.
  • Administer and support Video Management Systems (VMS) and Access Control platforms, ensuring continuous monitoring and operational reliability.
  • Maintain SIOC operational systems, including Audiovisual multicast systems, Curio Masters, encoders, decoders, and wall displays.
  • Lead Active Directory integration and manage authentication and access control across SIOC and field systems.
  • Maintain Virtual environments, including provisioning, updates, performance monitoring, and security compliance. Participate in SD-WAN deployments and assist with decommissioning legacy analog and outdated systems.
  • Develop and maintain network diagrams, configuration documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and runbooks.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on security data to senior management, highlighting key risks and areas for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with security best practices, organizational policies, and infrastructure standards across all networks and systems. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in security systems and practices, incorporating relevant advancements into the product area/region

 

 

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

 

Education and Experience:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Network Engineering, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and hands-on experience.
  • Working experience in a leadership role in a security function, overseeing security team and responsible to plan security infrastructure
  • Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in Network & Security

Preferred:

  • Experience with SD-WAN deployments and cloud infrastructure management.
  • Experience supporting multicast, AV, and SIOC operational systems.
  • Prior experience coordinating security infrastructure across multiple sites or regions.

 

Knowledge and Skills:

 

  • Strong knowledge of network protocols, routing, switching, and security best practices.
  • Hands-on experience with Cisco Meraki, firewalls, switches, routers, and wireless access points.
  • Experience with WAN/LAN, DHCP, DNS, VLANs, VPNs, and authentication systems.
  • Troubleshooting skills for network, servers, endpoints, and virtual environments.
  • Experience with VMware, Azure, and virtual environment management.
  • Knowledge of VMS and Access Control platforms and SIOC systems.
  • Ability to create and maintain network diagrams, SOPs, and runbooks.
  • Clear verbal and written communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong collaboration with security teams, IT staff, integrators, vendors, and leadership.
  • Ability to coordinate, influence, and present solutions effectively.

Preferred:

  • Familiarity with Security System management practices.
  • Experience with SD-WAN and cloud infrastructure.
  • Familiarity with multicast, AV, or SIOC systems.
  • Cisco, Meraki, Palo Alto, VMware, or Azure knowledge
  • Knowledge of integration and automation for network/security
  • Experience leading cross-functional projects.
