YOUR ROLE

Are you organised, process-driven and confident in coaching and training others? We’re looking for a Warehouse Process Lead to join our team in Hucknall!

In this role, you’ll play a key part in keeping warehouse operations running smoothly by investigating and resolving service and operational queries across inbound and outbound activities. You’ll work closely with colleagues across the CEVA operation and the wider customer supply chain, helping to maintain efficient processes and deliver excellent service.

This is a Monday to Friday, 07:00–16:30 with some flexibility to cover holiday and business needs. This role pays up to £31,000 per annum.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

  • Become a subject matter expert in the end-to-end warehouse operation, providing hands-on support and guidance across inbound and outbound processes.
  • Maintain a strong presence on the warehouse floor, identifying process issues, troubleshooting operational challenges and supporting the team to keep activities running smoothly.
  • Act as the site's WMS Super User, developing in-depth system knowledge and supporting colleagues with system queries, transactions and operational exceptions.
  • Act as the main day-to-day operational contact for the on-site customer, investigating queries and taking ownership of issues through to resolution.
  • Champion a Right First-Time approach, ensuring warehouse processes and controls are consistently followed within a quality-focused aerospace environment.
  • Review and maintain Work Instructions, identifying gaps or outdated information to ensure processes are clearly documented and understood.
  • Coach and support colleagues, sharing knowledge and providing guidance to ensure the correct processes are followed across the operation.
  • Identify recurring operational and system issues, working with relevant teams to implement practical and sustainable improvements

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  • Experience working within a warehouse or logistics environment, with a good understanding of inbound and outbound processes.
  • Strong knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), ideally SAP, and warehouse processes including receipt, put-away, storage and despatch.
  • Confident investigating operational issues, resolving queries and identifying opportunities to improve processes.
  • Good communication skills, with the ability to support, coach and guide colleagues.
  • A customer-focused approach, with the confidence to manage operational queries and build effective working relationships.
  • A hands-on, proactive approach, with the ability to work independently and support the wider warehouse team.

WHAT DO WE HAVE TO OFFER?

With a genuine culture of reward and recognition, we want our employees to grow, develop and be part of our journey. We offer a benefits package that includes competitive annual leave entitlement with a fantastic holiday buy scheme, pension and life assurance along with access to an employee benefits platform that offers discounts on gym memberships and money off vouchers for a diverse range of retail, travel and hospitality brands. There’s no doubt that you will be compensated for your hard work and commitment so if you’d like to work for one of the top Logistics providers in the world then please do get in touch to find your next role.
