YOUR ROLE
As the Product & Services Procurement Supervisor, you will play a critical role in supporting the company’s operational and strategic purchasing activities. You will be responsible for supervising procurement processes, managing and monitoring supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, and ensuring the timely delivery of goods and services aligned with business requirements. The role requires strong analytical skills, commercial awareness, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
- Lead and supervise procurement activities related to products, services, and indirect purchasing categories.
- Develop and implement sourcing and procurement strategies to optimize cost, quality, and supplier performance.
- Manage supplier selection, evaluation, negotiation, and contract processes to ensure compliance with company standards and procurement policies.
- Conduct market research and supplier benchmarking to identify cost-saving opportunities and innovative sourcing solutions.
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders including Operations, Finance, Legal, IT, and Administrative departments to understand procurement needs and priorities.
- Monitor procurement budgets and purchasing performance, ensuring cost-effective procurement practices without compromising quality or service levels.
- Ensure timely procurement and delivery of products and services to support uninterrupted business operations.
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with vendors, contractors, and service providers while ensuring contractual obligations and SLAs are met.
- Support tender management, RFQ/RFP processes, and supplier performance reviews.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures, ethical procurement standards, and relevant legal regulations.
- Prepare procurement reports, spend analyses, and KPI tracking to support management decision-making.
- Mentor and support team members, promoting continuous improvement and operational excellence within the procurement function.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
- Proven experience in procurement, purchasing or supply chain management, preferably within logistics, FMCG or multinational environments.
- Strong knowledge of procurement processes, supplier management, contract negotiation, and strategic sourcing methodologies.
- Experience managing indirect procurement categories including services, facility-related purchasing, or operational procurement is preferred.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills with a commercial mindset.
- Demonstrated coordination capabilities with the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and procurement tools (SAP experience is an advantage).
- Excellent organisational and communication skills with the ability to coordinate across departments and external partners.
- Fluency in English and Turkish is advantageous due to the operational context within Turkey.
