YOUR ROLE
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Sales Development Senior Specialist to join CEVA Logistics Turkey's Business Development division, based at our headquarters in Istanbul. This role is pivotal to driving growth and expanding our presence in the logistics sector focusing on ground and rail operations. As a Sales Development Senior Specialist, you will play a critical role in shaping sales strategies, fostering client relationships, and generating new business opportunities across Turkey.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
· Develop, implement, and optimise targeted Proven experience in domestic logistics sales or business development roles within the logistics industry.
· Strategies to meet and exceed growth objectives within the logistics ground and rail segment.
· Identify and engage prospective clients through various channels, including market research, networking events, and digital tools, to build a robust sales pipeline.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as operations, marketing, and account management to ensure seamless delivery of client solutions and enhance customer satisfaction.
· Qualify inbound leads and convert them into solid sales prospects by understanding client needs and aligning them with CEVA Logistics' service offerings.
· Lead outreach initiatives, including cold-calling, email campaigns, and client meetings, with a professional and consultative approach.
· Maintain accurate records of all sales activities and client interactions within the company CRM system to analyse performance metrics and report to senior management.
· Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging market opportunities to provide insightful recommendations and maintain competitive advantage.
· Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by sharing best practices and market feedback within the Business Development team.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
· Proven experience in domestic logistics sales or business development roles within the logistics industry.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients of diverse backgrounds.
· Demonstrated ability to proactively identify opportunities and independently manage the sales development process from lead generation to qualification.
· Fluency in English and Turkish, both written and spoken, is essential.
· Excellent organisational skills with a keen eye for detail and a results-driven mindset.
· Proficient in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
· Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment.
