WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

 

CUSTOMS PROCEDURES AND SHIPMENT RECORDS

  • Receives, processes, and archives all documents related to this activity, following the client's internal instructions and the employer's work procedures.
  • Records customs shipments in the HELIOS system and other relevant client or employer applications.
  • Prepares documents for customs procedures according to the client's requirements.
  • Actively communicates with the client as needed.
  • Promptly handles client requests related to this activity.
  • Is responsible for the completeness and accuracy of the documents processed.
  • Actively participates in internal document checks according to the instructions of their immediate superior.
  • Prepares documents and remedies if necessary.
  • Provides assistance with the invoicing of customs services and customs duties, prepares supporting documents according to the instructions of the supervisor.
  • Accepts documents from the client, processes and discusses them in person as an authorized person at the local Chamber of Commerce or customs administration.
  • Delivers confirmed certificates to the client or arranges for them to be sent by courier/postal service to the addresses specified by the client.
  • Keeps proper records of discussed certificates and prepares documentation for invoicing services.
  • Organizes and plans business trips for meetings at the Chamber of Commerce or customs administration in accordance with the client's requirements and with regard to the time and cost efficiency of this activity.

 

PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT AND RESPONSIBILITY

  • Monitors and keeps abreast of changes in regulations relating to customs and related issues.
  • Participates in training courses and seminars.
  • Shares acquired knowledge, experience, and practical insights with colleagues during meetings and internal training sessions.
  • Immediately informs their immediate superior of any identified risks or extraordinary situations that go beyond the scope of normal operations and communication with clients and state authorities, consults with them on possible solutions, and proceeds according to the instructions given.
  • Complies with generally binding legal regulations and internal regulations

 

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

 

  • Minimum high school education completed with a high school diploma.
  • English at a minimum level of A2.
  • Knowledge and practical competence in the field of customs legislation and declarations for at least two years.
  • Expertise & skills  with regards to:
    • CUSTOMS LEGISLATION AND PROCESSES
    • CUSTOMS TARIFF
    • PREFERENTIAL RULES AND ORIGIN OF GOODS
    • TAX ISSUES IN THE CUSTOMS AREA
    • INCOTERMS
    • COMMERCIAL AND ACCOMPANYING DOCUMENTATION
