Job Purpose: The Global Business IT and Technology Partnering Specialist is responsible for maintaining, supporting, and optimizing local IT infrastructure and end user environments while also contributing to the successful execution of global IT initiatives. This role ensures stable, secure, and efficient IT operations within the region and collaborates closely with Global IT teams to deliver project outcomes aligned with corporate standards and strategic objectives.

 

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

  • Delivers high quality 1st/2nd line IT support to local users, ensuring uptime and reliable operation of hardware, software, devices, and network components.
  • Manages installation, configuration, asset lifecycle, and maintenance of IT systems, workplace devices, and approved applications.
  • Troubleshoots and resolves IT incidents, escalating to regional/global teams when required. 
  • Maintains accurate documentation of systems, incidents, configurations, and IT procedures.
  • Supports planning, implementation and rollout of global IT projects within designated geographical scope (e.g., infrastructure upgrades, application deployments, security initiatives).
  • Acts as a local focal point for global program teams, ensuring alignment with site operations, constraints, and business needs.
  • Assists in projects progress tracking, reporting, testing, and user acceptance activities.
  • Coordinates with cross functional teams, vendors, and Global IT PMO when required.
  • Maintains regular communication with Regional IT, Global IT, and local Operations teams to ensure consistent IT service delivery.
  • Supports user training on new tools, systems, and best practices and also during onboarding and offboarding processes.
  • Provides clear technical updates to stakeholders and contributes to continuous service improvement.
  • Performs other tasks assigned by the direct manager related to the specifics of the workplace and position.
  • Follows and respects the Employer's Internal Labor Regulations and all internal procedures and rules.
  • Responsible for the safety of himself / herself and that of others. Must comply with the rules for health & safety at work, as well as those for fire safety, and raise all issues relating to hazard and risk.
  • Respects the applicable procedures related to environmental protection. Involved in environmental actions and actively participates in waste, energy, and paper use reduction.

 

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  • University Degree – Bachelor/BSc in a technical field as Computer Science
  • Fluent in English and in Czech
  • Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, networking, remote access tools and workplace devices.
  • Understanding of cybersecurity principles, data protection and compliance practices.
  • Ability to document procedures, manage tickets, and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving mindset.
  • Excellent communication, customer service and collaboration abilities.
  • Proactive, disciplined, and service‑oriented work approach.
