Key Responsibilities
Business Development
- Identify and develop new business opportunities through prospecting, cold calling, networking, referrals, and market research.
- Conduct regular customer visits to understand logistics requirements and present suitable solutions.
- Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline to achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
- Generate new revenue from Ocean Freight, Air Freight, Customs Brokerage, Warehousing, and Transportation services.
- Prepare and deliver professional sales presentations and proposals.
Customer Relationship Management
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers and key decision-makers.
- Understand customer supply chain challenges and recommend appropriate logistics solutions.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and service excellence.
- Conduct regular business reviews and follow-up meetings with customers.
- Address customer concerns and coordinate with internal teams to provide timely resolutions.
Account Management
- Manage and grow assigned customer accounts.
- Identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling additional logistics services.
- Monitor customer shipment activities and support business growth initiatives.
- Assist in contract renewals and commercial negotiations.
Sales Administration & Reporting
- Prepare quotations in coordination with Pricing and Sales Support teams.
- Follow up on quotations and business opportunities to maximize conversion rates.
- Maintain accurate customer records, sales activities, and opportunities within the CRM system.
- Submit weekly sales activity reports, pipeline updates, and sales forecasts.
- Ensure all sales documentation is complete and compliant with company procedures.
Internal Coordination
- Collaborate with Operations, Customer Service, Pricing, and Sales Support teams to ensure smooth service delivery.
- Coordinate customer onboarding and implementation activities.
- Support RFQ and tender submissions when required.
- Communicate customer requirements effectively to internal stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum 2–5 years of sales experience in Freight Forwarding, Logistics, Shipping, or Supply Chain industries.
- Proven experience in business development and customer acquisition.
- Understanding of Ocean Freight, Air Freight, Customs Clearance, Transportation, and Warehousing services.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and target-oriented.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
- Good command of English and Bahasa Indonesia.
