YOUR ROLE

The Finance Director is responsible for leading all financial activities of CEVA Logistics in Indonesia and Timor. This role provides strategic financial leadership, ensures strong financial governance, and supports business growth and operational excellence. The position acts as a key business partner to senior leadership and drives performance management, cost control, and compliance.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

1. Strategic Finance Leadership

  • Partner with the Product Heads to drive financial strategy aligned with CEVA’s global objectives
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to support decision-making, investments, and business expansion
  • Translate operational strategy into financial plans and measurable targets

2. Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)

  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning cycles
  • Monitor financial performance vs. budget and provide variance analysis with actionable insights
  • Develop and track KPIs across operations, ensuring alignment with profitability and efficiency goals

3. Business Partnering

  • Act as a trusted advisor to commercial, operations, and supply chain teams
  • Provide guidance on pricing strategies, contract profitability, and cost optimization initiatives
  • Support tender processes with financial modeling and risk assessment

4. Financial Reporting

  • Ensure timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
  • Maintain compliance with IFRS/local GAAP and CEVA corporate guidelines
  • Deliver high-quality management reporting to regional and global finance leadership

5. Cost Management, Operational Efficiency and cash management

  • Drive cost control initiatives across logistics operations (transport, warehousing, freight forwarding)
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and productivity gains
  • Monitor working capital metrics including receivables, payables, and inventory

6. Governance, Controls & Compliance

  • Ensure adherence to internal controls, policies, and procedures
  • Oversee audits (internal/external) and ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Manage financial risks, including contract risks, credit risks, and with a specific focus on tax exposures
  • Serve as a local director and a legal representative of the company

7. Team Leadership

  • Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team across multiple locations (if applicable)
  • Build a high-performance culture with strong accountability and continuous improvement mindset
  • Support talent development and succession planning

8. Stakeholder Management

  • Interface with regional/global finance teams, auditors, and external stakeholders
  • Support corporate initiatives such as M&A, integration, or transformation projects
  • Represent finance in cross-functional leadership meetings

9. Transformation

  • Actively contribute to finance transformation initiatives, including organizational simplification, process redesign, system harmonization, and offshoring programs.
  • Play a key role in supporting post-acquisition integration and convergence efforts to drive efficiency, standardization.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (MBA or professional qualification such as CPA/ACCA preferred)
  • 15+ years of progressive finance experience, ideally within logistics, supply chain, or multinational environments
  • Proven track record in leading finance teams and driving business performance
  • Strong experience in FP&A, financial reporting, and business partnering
