Main Duties • In compliance with the regulations, accept and check the instructions, information, and documents pre alert that are required for performing the customs declaration • Determine and assign a tari classification, where permitted, based on regulations and customs procedures, to enable duties and taxes (the customs payment) to be calculated • Draw up Customs Declarations • Tari classification will be determined by Firmenich • Implant will not input anything at Firmenich’s internal system/ SAP • Information required by Customs, will be provided by Firmenich employee • If Red Line occur, Firmenich team will provide all documents required • Confirm documentation required for the appropriate customs procedure • Enter and submit the declaration in the internal and/or external Customs system • Obtain Export/Import customs declaration final validation by exporter/importer before f illing to customs • Transmit through EDI final Customs declaration • Check and monitoring the customs response and provide the latest status to Customs Compiler • Provide all the information required by the customs authorities: act as an intermediary between the company and the customs authorities • In the event of an inspection or physical check of goods, provide the necessary documents and declaration to the customs compiler • Responsible for Data quality and data integrity pertaining to customs activities Reporting Activities • Daily report update of Import customs declaration status
