Key Responsibilities
1.Receive Transport Booking
•
Receive transportation booking requests from the Internal Freight Forwarding Operation (IFFO) team.
•
Review booking details to ensure shipment information is complete and accurate.
•
Coordinate transportation schedules based on customer requirements.
2.
Arrange Truck Booking
•
Book trucks with approved transport vendors.
•
Coordinate truck availability, pickup schedule, and delivery timeline.
•
Ensure vendors meet the agreed operational requirements and service levels.
3.
Monitor Transportation Operations
•
Monitor truck movement and cargo status throughout the transportation process.
•
FCL Export
Monitor empty container pickup from depot.
Monitor loading activities at shipper warehouse.
Track container delivery and gate-in at Container Yard (CY).
•
LCL Export
Monitor cargo pickup from shipper warehouse.
Monitor cargo delivery to CFS warehouse.
•
FCL Import
Monitor full container pickup from CY.
Monitor delivery to consignee warehouse.
Monitor unloading activities.
Ensure empty container is returned to the depot.
•
LCL Import
Monitor cargo pickup from CFS warehouse.
Monitor delivery to consignee warehouse.
Monitor unloading completion.
•
Air Export & Import
Monitor cargo pickup from shipper/consignee warehouse.
Monitor delivery or pickup to/from airline carrier warehouse.
Ensure cargo movement is completed according to schedule.\
4.
Update Transport Information
•
Update shipment status in CW1 system.
•
Record vendor buying costs in CW1.
•
Ensure operational data is accurate, complete, and updated in a timely manner.
•
Maintain transportation refor reporting and billing purposes.
