IT ADMINISTRATOR – SOUTH AFRICA

YOUR ROLE

The IT Administrator is responsible for managing, maintaining, and supporting the organization’s IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, hardware, and software systems. The role ensures the smooth operation of all IT systems, provides technical support to staff, and implements security and backup procedures to protect company data

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

• Provide first- and second-line technical support for hardware, software, and network issues.

• Coordinate IT requests, incidents, and service tickets to ensure timely resolution.

• Install, configure, and maintain computers, printers, and other IT equipment.

• Support user account management including onboarding, offboarding, and access control.

• Coordinate regular system updates, backups, and security patches.

• Ensure compliance with IT policies, security standards, and data protection protocols.

• Work with vendors and service providers for IT procurement and support.

• Maintain IT asset registers, documentation, and configuration records.

• Assist with IT projects such as system upgrades, new technology rollouts, and process imp

 WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

 • Diploma/Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred.

• 2–4 years’ experience in IT support, system administration, or similar role.

• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Strong communication skills and ability to support users at all levels.

• Flexibility to work after hours or weekends when required
