As a Logistics Operations Operator at CEVA Air & Ocean Italy S.P.A., you will play a critical role within our Industrial Projects division, specifically supporting our Project Logistics activities in the Pantigliate area. This position is integral to ensuring the smooth and efficient management of logistics operations tailored to the industrial and project freight sector.

Role Overview

In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for coordinating and executing a range of logistics operations involving transportation, warehousing, customs processes, and freight handling for complex industrial projects. Your focus will include monitoring shipment progress, managing documentation, collaborating with internal teams and external carriers, and ensuring compliance with regulations. Your proactive approach will directly support the successful delivery of time-sensitive and high-value cargo.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee daily logistics operations, including inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring timely and accurate execution.
• Manage and update all necessary documentation related to logistics activities, such as shipping instructions, customs declarations, and transport contracts.
• Collaborate closely with project managers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and carriers to align logistics solutions with project requirements.
• Monitor shipment status and proactively resolve any issues or delays to maintain project timelines.
• Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards within all logistics activities.
• Support continuous process improvement initiatives aimed at increasing efficiency and reducing costs in project logistics operations.
• Utilize company systems and technologies to track inventory, schedule shipments, and generate reports.
• Assist with customs clearance procedures and coordinate with relevant authorities to facilitate smooth import/export operations.

Qualifications and Skills

• Previous experience in logistics operations, preferably within project or industrial logistics.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to manage complex shipments effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams and external partners.
• Working knowledge of customs regulations and compliance related to Italian and international logistics.
• Proficiency in logistics management software and Microsoft Office suite.
• Problem-solving mindset and ability to adapt to evolving project demands.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
