YOUR ROLE

For our campus in Roosendaal, we are looking for a Logistics Planner. As a Transport Planner, you will create daily and weekly loading and unloading schedules for our warehouse. You will be in frequent contact with carriers, your warehouse colleagues, the client, and CEVA cross-dock locations to ensure that products are delivered to customers on time.

In this role, you will work in an office area adjacent to the warehouse—a convenient setup that allows for regular interaction with your colleagues and keeps you well-informed about the challenges on the warehouse floor. You will be part of a five-person Transport & Customer Service team, responsible for scheduling carriers based on the daily workload. You will also maintain an overall view of operations and serve as a primary point of contact for the Supervisor.

In addition to daily transport planning, your responsibilities will include:

• Maintaining intensive contact with the client, including participation in weekly transport meetings with the client and your supervisor;
• Resolving issues and/or escalations in consultation with stakeholders and your colleagues;
• Analyzing the performance of carriers, the (internal) client, and third parties, and developing potential improvements based on these insights;
• Designing and developing transport solutions in collaboration with the CEVA Ground Carrier Manager.

WHERE WILL YOU WORK?

With your experience as a Logistics Planner, you and your team are not only responsible for planning orders, but you also serve as the primary point of contact for the Supervisor and the rest of the team. You maintain a clear overview, manage client relationships, know how to set priorities, and are able to adapt quickly. You possess strong communication skills, enabling you to interact effectively with both internal and external stakeholders. Furthermore, you are driven to achieve set goals—ideally in collaboration with your team and colleagues. This is a full-time position with flexible working hours between 07:00 and 18:00.

At CEVA Logistics in Roosendaal, we operate several warehouses where we manage logistics processes for a variety of clients. The client you and your team will support operates within the retail sector. Our warehouse spans approximately 30,000 m² and serves as the hub from which we supply 40 stores across Europe.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

With your proactive attitude and strong communication skills, there is no problem that cannot be solved. You are stress-resistant, work accurately, and are capable of maintaining a fast pace. You are assertive and able to work independently, all while keeping team spirit in mind. Drawing on your experience, you act as a liaison between the team and the Supervisor, ensuring a comprehensive overview is maintained. Finally, you are flexible—both in terms of supporting your colleagues and regarding your working hours during particularly busy periods.

You bring the following knowledge and experience:

• At least 3 years of experience in transport or capacity planning;
• Professional working and thinking level (MBO+ / HBO);
• Strong command of English spoken and written;
• Solid planning skills and a keen understanding of logistics;
• Proficiency in Excel.

• A gross monthly salary between € 3.034 and € 4.068 plus 8% holiday pay (classification depending on, among other things, your work experience and level of education);
