IT Business Analyst
Job Purpose
The IT Business Analyst is responsible for the structured implementation of new and existing IT solutions, ensuring alignment with business requirements across CEVA operations and customer environments.
The role focuses on delivering specialized IT solutions related to Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Carrier Management Integration Systems (CIMS), and other operational platforms. It requires close collaboration with Solution Design, Operations, and clients to analyse business needs, define system functionalities, and ensure successful implementation.
The IT Business Analyst plays a key role in translating business requirements into technical specifications, supporting testing phases, and driving user adoption through training and post-implementation support.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse and document business requirements, including mapping “as-is” and “to-be” processes, and validate them with IT and business stakeholders.
- Facilitate or lead workshops to gather requirements, perform gap analysis, and ensure completeness of functional scope.
- Produce high-quality project documentation aligned with project management standards and methodologies.
- Prepare test strategies, execute system testing, and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Support implementation activities and provide post-go-live assistance to ensure successful delivery.
- Maintain strong relationships with customers, business teams, and IT stakeholders to ensure effective collaboration.
- Provide consultancy on logistics processes and IT systems to internal and external stakeholders.
- Deliver training to key users and prepare management presentations when required.

- Indirect collaboration: May coordinate with project resources (0–12+) in a matrix environment

Knowledge, Experience & Skills
Education & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Logistics, or related field
- Fluent in English
Desirable:
- Certifications in Business Analysis (CBAP, PMI-PBA)
- Project Management certifications (Agile or Waterfall)
- Additional technical or engineering qualifications
Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in an international logistics environment
- Proven experience in IT business analysis within project delivery
- Experience working with WMS solutions
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies
- Experience in requirements gathering workshops and gap analysis
Desirable:
- Experience with TMS, CIMS, and Blue Yonder WMS
- Exposure to solution design and architecture
- Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum, Kanban)
Technical & Functional Skills
- Strong understanding of warehouse processes and systems interdependencies
- Ability to translate business needs into functional and technical specifications
- Experience in process mapping and documentation
- Expertise in system testing and UAT support
- Knowledge of software configuration and IT systems
