YOUR ROLE

We have an exciting opportunity for an ambitious and people focused Warehouse Team Leader with a successful track record of service delivery, safety, operational excellence, continuous improvement, and people development to join our site in Manchester.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

As a Warehouse Team Leader reporting into the Warehouse Supervisor, you will focus on service delivery and achievement of operational KPI’s and targets through the management of your team, ensuring clear direction is given on daily workload allocation, key targets and areas of focus through your daily shift briefing to ensure the operation runs efficiently with minimal disruption. You will utilise the SAP and CORE+ warehouse management systems to track and monitor operational performance throughout the day, and provide reports to site managers and leaders where appropriate. You’ll be responsible for monitoring the sickness, absence and performance of you team, carrying out any investigations, development conversations and regular 1 to 1’s.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We are looking for someone with demonstrable experience operating as a Warehouse Team Leader or Warehouse Supervisor who ideally comes with a background in warehousing and logistics. You’ll need to be a strong people manager who can confidently give clear direction to your team, and have a passion for leading and developing people. We’ll also need someone who has previously used warehouse management systems and is confident using Microsoft packages, and have a good working knowledge of health and safety in the workplace.
