Business Development Strategy & Project Management Officer

The BD Strategy & PM officer will be responsible to design, develop, drive and deliver high priority projects in line with the Business Development / Commercial Strategy, together with the global Business Development management office.
This role is critical to ensure the successful delivery of Global BD projects and strategic initiatives at the Group level, from ideation, structure design, road map and implementation. The scope is global, which means you will need to work on projects and strategies that are transversal, but also on some that are specific to some products and geographies (we have some commercial initiatives/projects specific to the Air & Ocean product, or to the NORTAM region etc.).
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
- Design or update commercial strategy at group and product / region / sector level to be aligned with market & customer needs as well as with top management priorities and Group ambition
- Work closely with regional and sector sales teams to ensure that global strategy is being implemented and delivering results
- Monitor progress of all projects against agreed objectives and deliverables – ensuring swift follow-up and identification of remedial actions from project managers and/or sponsors where these are off track
- Gather and organize information on pockets of growth, and develop project plan with clear scope and deliverable
- Screen Group performance on topline and identify pain points or recurring roadblocks; suggest corrective action plans to resolve them
- Manage specific projects that require strong attention (launch of sales campaign; launch of new product/service; change in the organization; change in the tools/software used by sales teams…)
- Prepare management presentations for executive team meetings, sparring partner for executive level
- Manage communication & relationship between BD community (with regional & sector sales teams but also with Product sales teams)
- Business or Political Science school (Grande Ecole)
- Previous experience of 3 years minimum in strategy consulting or business development / sales strategy role (at high-level/close to COMEX)
- Fluent English
- Sales / Business Development / Business strategy
- Strong autonomy to perform tasks and come up with new ideas
- Strong data analysis skills; experience working with both operational and financial data
- Strong communication, presentation and organization skills - ability to reduce complex and complicated information into clear recommendations to senior leadership
- Absolute team player and ability to bring different opinions to consensus
- Strong multitasking and prioritization skills
