YOUR ROLE

 

The Group Corporate Accounting Director oversees all accounting operations of the holding entities, ensures the reliability of financial statements, and guarantees compliance with legal and tax standards. It plays a key part in the group’s financial strategy by leading the harmonisation of accounting practices and anticipating regulatory changes

This position requires great rigour, solid technical expertise, as well as a keen sense of leadership and project management.

 

 

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

 

Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

 

  • Organise the monthly closing and meet the group’s closing deadlines: Plan, coordinate, and control closing operations to ensure reliable data is produced within the given timeframes. Implement monitoring and continuous improvement tools to optimise the process and reduce the risk of errors.
  • Supervise statutory annual accounts: Ensure the preparation and validation of annual accounts in compliance with local and international accounting standards. Maintain constant regulatory watch to anticipate and integrate changes affecting financial reporting.
  • Act as the accounting reference for the Treasury, Tax, Business Control, and Finance departments: Provide technical support and accounting advice, participate in the development of cross-functional solutions, and ensure the consistency of financial information exchanged between departments.
  • Ensure compliance with tax obligations: Ensure the accuracy of tax declarations and payment of taxes, while optimising the group’s tax management. Work closely with the tax department to anticipate risks and seize optimisation opportunities.
  • Coordinate relations with auditors and tax authorities: Prepare audit files, facilitate communication with internal and external auditors. Guarantee the quality and transparency of information provided to strengthen the group’s credibility.
  • Implement and optimise internal control and reporting procedures: Develop robust procedures to secure accounting operations and improve the quality of financial reporting. Analyse existing processes, propose, and lead continuous improvement projects.
  • Manage and develop team competencies: Supervise, motivate, and support team members in their skills development. Identify training needs, organise tailored sessions, and foster a working environment conducive to engagement and performance.

 

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  • Master Degree in Accounting : DSCG, DEC, Master CCA, or equivalent
  • Minimum 10 years of experience leading an accounting team in an international environment
  • Strong skills in statutory and corporate accounting and Tax
  • Comfortable with IFRS
  • Proficiency in accounting software and IT tools
  • Good sense of communication
  • Rigor, discretion, and a strong sense of professional ethics
  • Fluent English (written & spoken)
