YOUR ROLE

 

Reporting line: hardline to Ceva CIO and dotted line to Group Architect lead. Member of the Ceva IT Leadership committee.

 

The Logistics Architect Director builds and adapts the Logistics Architecture function, leading its development and management to deliver value to business and IT stakeholders by realizing future-state architectures that drive desired business outcomes.

 

This role ensures that the Logistics Architecture function continuously evolves with the changing business and technology landscape, guides modernization of the technology portfolio and helps connect IT investment decisions to desired business outcomes. The Logistics Architect Director is accountable for ensuring Logistics Architecture activities align with enterprise and C-suite priorities and target outcomes for revenue growth, cost optimization and risk mitigation.

 

The Logistics Architect Director sets architectural direction and manages and develops a high-performing Architecture team of Domain architects.

 

They foster a culture of innovation, learning, coaching and mentoring across the Architecture function. The role is responsible for the function’s operating model, organizational design and day-to-day management, positioning Architecture as an internal management consultancy that offers a portfolio of services to the C-suite, business leaders and enterprise stakeholders to drive desired business outcomes. They shape and guide the services the Architecture function offers, as well as define and oversee Architecture governance processes and lead their integration with business and IT operations.

 

 

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

 

  • Set the Architecture vision and strategy aligned with the Business and Group and Logistics IT strategy
  • Manage a team of Domain architects and functional management of Solution architects
  • Define the Architecture blueprint and principles specific to Logistics when those from Group don’t apply
  • Own the Architecture policies and procedures specific to Logistics when those from Group don’t apply
  • Cascade the Architecture vision and strategy to the Product COEs through the Domain architects
  • Establish standards specific to Logistics when those from Group don’t apply and ensure compliance across domains and projects
  • Own the Logistics Application Portfolio management and ensure the proper inventory and documentation of software assets
  • Drive the Logistics Architecture community and actively contribute to the Group Architecture community
  • Drives the Group Architecture governance framework
  • Technology watch and innovation monitoring

 

 

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

 

  • Master degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT systems design or development
  • Minimum 5 years of experience gained in architecting and delivering large scale system integration landscapes
  • Proven experience in design and building applications
  • Broad knowledge of latest technology stacks and trends
  • Experience in developing and driving IT roadmaps
  • Demonstrated expertise in system and information architecture and design mechanism
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Experience in managing a team of technical experts
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English language
  • Strong presentation skills and ability to interact with senior internal and external partners
  • Ability to communicate and interact effectively with people from multicultural and diverse backgrounds. 
  • Fundamentally technology agnostic individual
