YOUR ROLE 

In this position you will support the Global M&A director and business teams in the execution of external growth initiatives by providing financial analysis, market analysis & coordinating M&A workstreams.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO ?

• To identify and to assess acquisition targets or strategic partnership opportunities, in close collaboration with Business Leaders and/or Country Leaders
• To conduct market research, benchmarking and competitive analysis
• To build financial models (business plans, DCF valuations, comparable company analysis, synergy assessments)
• To prepare workstream materials during the pre-acquisition phase to align all internal stakeholders
• To prepare decision-making materials for the Executive Committee (investment memos, strategic presentations)
• To coordinate and to support due diligence processes (financial, strategic, operational, ESG) in collaboration with internal teams and external advisors
• To contribute to post-merger integration (PMI) activities in close cooperation with operational teams

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR ?

Graduate degree from a top-tier business school, engineering school or university, with a specialization in finance, strategy or M&A

3 to 5 years of experience in M&A, within a private equity fund, corporate development team or transaction services, prior exposure to the logistics and/or transportation sector is a plus 

Strong financial modeling skills and solid experience in business plan analysis, Sound knowledge of corporate finance and valuation methodologies, Excellent professional proficiency in English (international environment) 

Strong analytical skills and ability to synthesize complex information, High level of autonomy, rigor and strong organizational skills, Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with a wide range of stakeholders
