YOUR ROLE

We are looking for an experienced General Manager Procurement to lead procurement activities across the Pacific while also owning the Facilities Management category across APAC.

This is a senior regional role within our evolving Group Procurement organisation, combining strategic category leadership with senior stakeholder management across Australia, New Zealand, Fiji and the broader Asia Pacific region.

You will play an important role in strengthening procurement integration across CEVA Logistics and CMA CGM, identifying opportunities to consolidate spend, leverage our regional scale and develop sourcing strategies that deliver sustainable commercial value.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

Specifically, you will:

• Lead procurement activities across the Pacific, acting as a key procurement partner to senior business stakeholders across Australia, New Zealand and Fiji.
• Develop and execute the APAC Facilities Management category strategy, covering areas including cleaning, utilities and energy, repairs and maintenance, security, waste management and other facility services.
• Lead and develop a regional procurement team across APAC, while providing category leadership to procurement resources operating within the Pacific.
• Drive strategic sourcing initiatives, supplier negotiations and procurement programmes that deliver measurable savings, productivity and commercial value.
• Identify opportunities to aggregate demand and consolidate suppliers across countries, CEVA Logistics and CMA CGM.
• Work closely with regional and global category teams to implement Group procurement strategies while addressing the requirements of individual APAC markets.
• Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders across operations, finance, legal and other functions, providing procurement expertise on major projects and commercial decisions.
• Monitor market developments, challenge existing sourcing models and introduce procurement best practice and innovative solutions across the Facilities Management category.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

You are an experienced procurement professional who is comfortable operating across countries, cultures and complex stakeholder environments. You can balance local business requirements with broader regional and Group priorities and are equally comfortable developing strategy, influencing senior stakeholders and leading complex commercial negotiations.

You will also have:

• Strong experience in strategic procurement, category management and sourcing within a large multinational organisation.
• Demonstrated experience leading procurement across multiple countries or within a regional environment, with strong people leadership capability.
• Excellent commercial, analytical and negotiation skills, with a track record of developing and implementing procurement strategies.
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, including the ability to operate effectively with senior leaders across different business units and markets.
• Experience within logistics, supply chain, Facilities Management or other complex indirect procurement categories will be highly regarded
• Flexibility to work across regional and global time zones, including participating in meetings outside standard Australian business hours when required.
