YOUR ROLE

 

We are seeking a strategic and commercially driven Head of Sector – Automotive to lead CEVA’s automotive sector strategy across the Air & Ocean division in the Pacific region.

 

Reporting to the Vice President Business Development – Pacific, this senior role is responsible for driving growth through customer acquisition, solution development, and sector leadership. You’ll collaborate across business functions to create tailored supply chain solutions that enhance CEVA’s value proposition in the automotive industry.

 

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

 

Specifically, you will:

 

  • Lead the development and execution of the automotive sector strategy, aligned with CEVA’s global and regional priorities
  • Drive new business and expand key customer relationships across the Air & Ocean division
  • Partner with Operations, Legal, Finance, and Solution Design to develop and deliver competitive logistics solutions
  • Oversee or contribute to major tenders and pricing strategies for strategic automotive clients
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to shape value propositions and identify opportunities
  • Represent CEVA as the key automotive sector lead in the Pacific, coordinating closely with global and regional sector teams
  • Manage customer pipeline, reporting and performance via C-View and related CRM tools.

 

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

 

Our ideal candidate has significant experience in strategic sales or business development within freight forwarding or the automotive supply chain. You will also have:

 

  • Solid experience in business development or account management in freight forwarding or logistics
  • Proven success in winning and retaining large B2B automotive customers
  • Strong commercial acumen, including pricing and freight cost structures
  • Experience developing complex tenders and leading cross-functional projects
  • Familiarity with CRM tools such as Salesforce or C-View
  • Confident stakeholder engagement, including with C-suite customer contacts
  • Automotive industry or sector-specific experience (essential); leadership experience (desirable).
