Rating and billing specialists are responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of rating and billing. The purpose is to secure revenue through the billing process.

Main areas of focus and accountability of the role – detail in order of importance the main areas of accountability of the role:

1. Reviewing and verifying billing data for accuracy.
2. Generating invoices and deliver them.
3. Investigating and resolving billing discrepancies.
4. Communicating with Customers regarding billing inquiries.
5. Assisting with month-end closing processes
6. Collaborating with other departments to ensure billing accuracy.
7. Performs daily activities of billing and auditing of assigned claims.
8. Ensure compliance with company policies, and state and federal regulatory bodies.
