Logistics Coordinator II

YOUR ROLE
Ensures the efficient and accurate flow of goods, materials, and information across the supply chain by coordinating product movement from warehousing facilities to distribution centers or final destinations. Coordinates and tracks shipments, optimizes logistics processes, monitors schedules, resolves transportation issues, and maintains detailed documentation. Serves as the primary liaison with customers, carriers, CEVA teams, the GVA department, and Freight Handlers to support timely delivery, operational excellence, and alignment with guiding principles and core values.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
- Provide logistics input to production scheduling to align shipment timing with carrier schedules.
- Coordinate TL and LTL shipments inbound to customer facilities.
- Provide routing instructions to suppliers, ensure accurate completion of required paperwork, and track product movement to ensure timely delivery.
- Work with customer‑appointed freight forwarders and domestic/international carriers to meet logistics requirements and support efficient, cost‑effective transportation solutions.
- Monitor transportation schedules, address delays, and track shipment status from origin to destination.
- Optimize routes, consolidate shipments when possible, and recommend process improvements to enhance service and efficiency.
- Report on key logistics performance metrics and evaluate operational performance against targets.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum 4 years related experience.
- Knowledgeable in industry-related issues in manufacturing, international and domestic rail and road transportation, supply chain, logistics and shipping operations.
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Minimum 3 years industry experience.
