We’re looking for a Pricing Performance Professional to drive profitability and pricing effectiveness across our transportation and logistics network. In this role, you’ll turn complex freight, lane, and customer data into actionable insights that improve margins, optimize pricing strategies, and support commercial success.
You’ll partner closely with Sales, Operations, and Finance to evaluate pricing performance, strengthen deal quality, and ensure competitive positioning in a fast-paced logistics environment.
What You’ll Do
- Analyze pricing performance across lanes, customers, and service types (FTL, LTL, intermodal, last-mile)
- Evaluate key metrics such as revenue per mile, cost per mile, margin per load, and yield
- Identify underperforming lanes, contracts, and accounts and recommend pricing improvements
- Support RFPs, bids, and contract renewals with detailed pricing analysis and modeling
- Assess spot vs. contract pricing performance and market competitiveness
- Develop dashboards and reports to track pricing KPIs and performance trends
- Provide guidance to Sales on deal structure, discounting, and margin optimization
- Monitor pricing compliance and identify opportunities to improve processes and tools
- Incorporate market data (capacity, demand, fuel trends) into pricing recommendations
What You Bring
- 4–7+ years of experience in pricing, logistics analytics, transportation finance, or a similar field
- Strong understanding of freight pricing, cost drivers, and logistics operations
- Advanced Excel skills (modeling, data analysis, scenario building)
- Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar analytics tools
- Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights
- Strong collaboration and communication skills with cross-functional teams
Nice to Have
- Experience with TMS platforms or pricing tools
- Familiarity with market data tools (e.g., DAT, FreightWaves, Truckstop)
- Exposure to dynamic pricing or network optimization
Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related field
- Equivalent combination of education and relevant industry experience may be considered
Preferred / Asset Education
- Graduate degree (MBA, Master’s in Analytics, Supply Chain, or Finance) is an asset
- Certifications in Supply Chain (e.g., CSCP, CPIM), Logistics, or Data/Analytics are an asset
Salary Range: $64,750 CAD - 80,938 CAD annually.
This salary range is presented in compliance with applicable pay transparency laws and reflects the range we reasonably expect to pay for this role at the time of posting. Individual compensation is determined based on relevant experience, education, skills, and alignment with internal compensation practices.
