As an Inventory Control Analyst within the Logistics Operations Division at CEVA Contract Logistics Mexico, SA de CV, based in Ciénega de Flores - Michelin, you will play a key role in ensuring operational excellence in our Warehouse Operations department. This position is critical to maintaining accuracy, efficiency, and safety in inventory management and warehouse processes.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Supervise the execution of operational processes to ensure they comply with Safe Work Methods and established procedures, maintaining a focus on quality and safety standards.
- Lead and manage warehouse personnel, including providing training, conducting performance evaluations, recommending compensation adjustments, and supporting ongoing performance management initiatives.
- Conduct thorough verification of stock levels by reconciling the registered inventory in the system with the physical stock, detecting discrepancies promptly to maintain inventory integrity.
- Oversee the receiving process to verify the quantity and quality of incoming products, ensuring accurate and timely entry of received goods into the inventory management system.
- Manage segregation, sorting, and value-added processes in strict accordance with client specifications to deliver precise and customised logistic solutions.
- Support the development and implementation of operational and warehousing project objectives, including managing budgets, timelines, materials, staffing, and other resource requirements. You will regularly report progress and present information to management.
- Monitor and control productivity metrics and both internal and external Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), using data-driven insights to identify areas for improvement.
- Lead root cause analyses and develop actionable plans to address operational challenges, driving continuous improvement in processes and outcomes.
- Efficiently administer assigned resources, ensuring the operational area is adequately equipped with personnel, tools, and equipment necessary for executing processes effectively.
- Provide expert assistance in workplace investigations and safety analyses, developing recommendations to enhance operational conditions and promote a secure work environment.
Candidate Profile:
The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong understanding of warehouse logistics, inventory management, and operational supervision. They will possess excellent organisational and leadership skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across teams and management. Proficiency with inventory management systems and data analysis to track KPIs is essential. A commitment to workplace safety and adherence to procedures will ensure compliance and operational excellence.
