QUE FEREZ-VOUS?

  • Établir une relation constructive avec le client
  • Faire le suivi des commandes auprès de divers fournisseurs et transmettre l’information au client
  • Vérifier la documentation et s’assurer qu’elle est conforme aux exigences
  • Émettre la documentation nécessaire en respectant les instructions et les règlements
  • Maintenir certains rapports (internes ou externes)
  • Suivre les expéditions jusqu’à destination et informer le client des développements
  • Facturer selon les tarifs fournis au client
  • Effectuer d’autres tâches définies par le superviseur immédiat
  • Répondre aux diverses demandes de soumissions (clients et/ou collaborateurs à l’étranger)
  • Fournir des solutions innovantes au(x) client(s)
  • Répondre aux appels d’offres (RFQ) et aux diverses demandes de soumissions
  • Travailler en équipe et soutenir les collègues pendant les vacances et absences

CE QUE NOUS RECHERCHONS

Formation et expérience : DEC (province de Québec) ou niveau de scolarité équivalent
Compétences : 3 à 5 ans dans l’industrie du transport, incluant au moins une année en expédition de fret
Aptitudes : À l’aise avec la coordination de FCL, LCL, Breakbulk, RORO, fret aérien et transport terrestre, y compris les cargaisons surdimensionnées, dangereuses et lourdes. Sens du détail. Capacité à penser de façon créative. Esprit proactif et gestion des risques. Accent sur la sécurité et la conformité. Excellentes compétences en service à la clientèle. Capacité à lire, écrire et parler en anglais et en français.
Caractéristiques personnelles : Répond rapidement et professionnellement aux besoins des clients; capacité à lire, comprendre et remplir des listes de vérification, formulaires ou autres documents connexes. Leadership, intégrité, bon jugement, aptitudes en négociation, esprit d’équipe, créativité, rigueur, sens de l’organisation, autonomie et excellentes habiletés en communication sont les compétences clés recherchées.


COMPÉTENCES SUPPLÉMENTAIRES

  • Connaissance du fret de classe 1 (marchandises dangereuses)
  • Formation en marchandises dangereuses (DG)
  • Solide connaissance des Incoterms
  • Expérience dans le transport de marchandises contrôlées / ITAR
  • Certification en marchandises contrôlées

YOUR ROLE
Offer a complete transport solution service to Ceva Canada clients in the defense sector by handling air, ocean, road operations as well as procurement and quotation.

 

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

  • Establish a constructive relationship with the client
  • Follow up on orders with various suppliers and relay the information to the client
  • Verify documentation and ensure it complies with requirements
  • Issue the necessary documentation in accordance with instructions and regulations
  • Maintain certain reports (internal or external)
  • Monitor shipments until they reach their destination and keep the client informed of developments
  • Invoice according to the rates provided to the client
  • Perform other tasks as defined by the immediate supervisor
  • Respond to various quotation requests (from clients and/or international collaborators)
  • Provide innovative solutions to the client(s)
  • Respond to requests for proposals (RFQs) and various quotation requests
  • Work as part of a team and support colleagues during vacations and absences

 

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  • Education and Experience: DEC (Québec province) or similar education level
  • Credentials: 3-5 years in the transport industry including a minimum of one year of freight forwarding experience
  • Skills: Comfortable coordinating FCL, LCL, Breakbulk, RORO, Airfreight, and overland transport, including oversize, hazardous, and heavy-lift cargo. Attention to Detail. Ability to think outside the box. Proactive Thinking & Risk Mitigation. Focus on security and compliance. Very strong customer service skills. Ability to read, write and speak in English and French.
  • Characteristics: Responds promptly and professionally to customer needs; Ability to read, comprehend and complete basic checklists, forms or other related documents. Leadership, integrity, good judgment, negotiation skills, team spirit, creativity, conscientiousness, organization, autonomy, and strong communication are the key competencies sought. 

 

ADDITIONAL SKILLS

  • Knowledge of class 1 DG cargo
  • DG training
  • Strong knowledge of Incoterms,
  • Experience in the transportation of controlled goods/ITAR goods
  • Controlled goods certified
