Role Overview

As a Global Solution Design Specialist, you will leverage your expertise to develop and engineer comprehensive logistics solutions aligned with our clients' business objectives and the global supply chain landscape. This position is pivotal in merging operational knowledge with innovative practices to optimize our contract logistics offerings. Your insights will contribute to designing scalable, cost-effective, and reliable solutions that enhance customer value and CEVA Logistics’ competitive edge.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations, sales, and IT to gather requirements and understand client challenges in contract logistics.
• Design and document end-to-end logistics solutions, incorporating warehouse management, transportation, inventory control, and technology integration.
• Perform detailed analysis of client supply chains to identify improvement opportunities and develop tailored strategies that address complexity and efficiency.
• Engage with global stakeholders to ensure solution consistency and alignment with CEVA’s standards and best practices.
• Support bidding and proposal processes by delivering technical input, solution validation, and value proposition development.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes impacting logistics solutions.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives within the Solution Design department to enhance processes, methodologies, and customer satisfaction.
• Mentor and support junior team members, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and professional growth.

Required Skills and Experience

• Proven experience in solution design, supply chain management, or contract logistics within a global context.
• Strong understanding of warehouse operations, transportation logistics, and associated technologies such as Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Transport Management Systems (TMS).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to handle complex logistics challenges and deliver innovative solutions.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams and present ideas clearly to stakeholders at all levels.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
• Proficiency in using digital tools and platforms relevant to logistics and project management.
• A degree in logistics, supply chain management, engineering, business administration, or a related field is preferred.
