Warehouse Supervisor

YOUR ROLE

We are looking for a new Warehouse Supervisor for our site in Nieuwegein. In this leadership role, you are responsible for managing the logistics processes for two industrial customers with focus on spare parts. You ensure the accurate and timely execution of all warehouse processes together with your team and the strong collaboration with the office team. Together you strive to achieve the customer’s KPIs and to contribute to CEVA and the customer’s successes. In doing so, you play a key role in the quality of our services and in customer satisfaction.

As a Warehouse Supervisor, you plan, coordinate, and monitor all activities required for the smooth processing of order flows. You work closely with three Assistant Supervisors and together you lead a team of 30 employees. As a team, you ensure a safe working environment and continuously improve quality, productivity, and efficiency.

In summary, your responsibilities include:

• Leading warehouse operators and assistant supervisors (a total of 30 employees);
• Managing KPIs such as safety, quality, productivity, and on-time outbound processing;
• Working according to LEAN principles and the 5S concept, actively seeking process improvements through Kaizens, VSM improvements, Gemba walks and many other lean tools;
• Monitoring results, identifying deviations, and investigating solutions in consultation with the Contract Manager;
• Recognizing talent within the team and ensuring training, cross-training, coaching, and development.

WHERE WILL YOU WORK?

The warehouse location in Nieuwegein is a multi-user site where approximately 200 colleagues work together every day to contribute to our success.

The customers under your responsibility are industrial clients for whom we distribute spare parts worldwide. You will lead a team consisting of both experienced employees and new colleagues. This combination brings stability as well as growth ambition within the team, offering great development opportunities but also requiring attention to long-term employability and absenteeism prevention.

You will work from Monday to Friday between 07:30 and 17:30 and report to the Contract Manager.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We are seeking a leader who can act decisively and remain steadfast in new or challenging situations. You are results-driven, understand the importance of strong stakeholder management, and manage expectations clearly. Setting priorities and communicating proactively with internal stakeholders and customers comes naturally to you.

Additionally, you bring:

• At least 2 years of leadership experience in a logistics environment;
• Fluent command of the English language, both spoken and written (Dutch is not required);
• Knowledge of warehouse processes and automated information systems;
• Demonstrable experience with Lean methodology;
• Clear communication, resilience and a can-do attitude.

As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will receive:

• A gross monthly salary between € 3.500 and € 4.100 plus 8% holiday allowance (starting salary depends on experience);
• A one-year contract with the prospect of a permanent position;
• Employment conditions according to our own CEVA collective labor agreement (Dutch: cao), including 25 vacation days and 5 ADV days;
• A profit-sharing bonus of up to 3% based on positive business results;
