YOUR ROLE
As Workforce Coördinating Representative, you play a key role in coordinating the availability of flexible workers across our logistics operations. Rather than creating schedules yourself, you act as the central point of contact between operations, team leaders, and our staffing agency partners to ensure workforce demand and supply are aligned.
Based on operational forecasts, you coordinate workforce requirements and ensure the right number of temporary workers with the required skills are available at the right time. You work closely with operational managers, staffing agencies, and internal stakeholders, translating workforce needs into clear actions and agreements.

With up to 1,000 temporary workers active in our Venray warehouses during peak periods, maintaining strong relationships and clear communication with all parties is crucial.
Using data, Excel, and workforce management systems, you monitor trends, identify risks, and provide insights that support decision-making. Your ability to prioritize, coordinate multiple stakeholders, and work accurately ensures smooth workforce operations and a reliable staffing process.
As Workforce Coördinating Representative you are going to do the following tasks:
- Coordinate the flexible workforce requirements for our logistics operations based on demand forecasts.
- Align workforce needs with operational managers and staffing agency partners for the coming 4-8 weeks.
- Serve as the primary liaison between operations and staffing agencies regarding temporary workforce supply.
- Advise stakeholders on workforce availability, capacity challenges, and potential solutions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external partners.
- Analyze workforce data and trends to improve future workforce planning and availability.
- Support initiatives that enhance workforce flexibility, such as job rotation and multi-skilling.
- Contribute to process improvements and the further development of workforce planning tools and systems.
WHERE WILL YOU WORK?
You'll work in a team comprising three other Workforce Planners, two Flex Coaches and a Workforce Coordinator. It's a diverse, hardworking team that values your input, working together to achieve goals. Reporting to the Workforce Manager.
Work hours span from 06:00 to 19:00 every day of the week. You'll work in staggered shifts, including weekends. Naturally, these hours won't be consecutive, and as a team, you'll craft a quarterly schedule, accommodating preferences where possible. Your work locations per week are: 1 day in Heerlen, 1 day in Born and 3 days in Venray.
