YOUR ROLE

Do you have experience in Accounting? We are looking for experienced person to join our team as Chief Accountant Deputy to support daily work of accounting team and perform specific accounting work while complying with statutory regulations and internal standards and procedures.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

• Coordinating of monthly and annual closing tasks in the accounting area
• Responsibility for preparation of statistical reports - Central Statistical Office (GUS) and reporting to the National Bank of Poland (NBP)
• Control of manual accounting entries
• Costs accruals and recurring process
• Supporting in CIT calculation as back up
• Controls and reconciliation of GL accounts on a monthly basis
• Checking the correctness of postings
• Monthly reporting
• Supervising the proper financial and accounting documents flow and their proper storage
• Cooperation with auditors and tax advisors
• Preparing/participating in the preparation of data for TP file
• Participation in quality documents check for VAT reporting
• Application of standards and procedures
• Communicate with parent company
• Participation in new regulation implementation, e.g. ksef, JPK-CIT
• Support in new accounting system future implementation
• Dealing with ad hoc assignments

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR? 

• Degree in Finance or Accounting
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Experience in international corporate environment 
• Very good command of English and Polish language
• Computer Science: Excel, accounting system ERP class
• Accounting Act and related decrees
• Overview of Polish tax laws
• Experience in TSL branch is additional advantage
• Highly motivated person with analytical skills and a keen eye for detail and accuracy while keeping bigger picture in mind
