Main areas of focus and accountability of the role – detail in order of importance the main areas of accountability of the role:

Manage a Record to Report (R2R) team and oversee the Record to Report and Oversee the month-end and year-end close processes, which include journal entries, account reconciliations, and any necessary modifications.

Ensure the team are able to meet the monthly closing timeline, ensure completeness and accuracy for all activities or transactions posted by the team member. Assist team members to resolve open items which require urgent attention / resolution

Assume responsibility for financial accounting results, resolving outstanding issues such as accruals, provisions, and depreciation rates. To achieve a consistent cost distribution throughout the year, analyze and compare monthly spending. When necessary, create an accrual to ensure consistency in reporting costs.

Examine financial statements for inconsistencies and other irregularities that should be brought to management's notice.To reduce, if not completely eliminate, adjusting entries and to promptly identify any under or overstated expenses, review general or nominal ledger entries on a regular basis.

Manage and develop the financial team by ensuring proper staffing, training, performance coaching, and compliance with company policies and internal controls.

Assist in the development and maintenance of internal controls and financial policies.

Contribute to the enhancement and automation of accounting procedures.

Make sure that all transactions—including those involving revenues, provisions, operational expenses, etc.are accurately documented and adhere to the guidelines established by the CEVA Accounting Manual

Promote ongoing enhancements in financial processes, systems, and procedures, pinpointing areas for efficiency improvements

Providing support for preparation of annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and variance analysis

Ensure compliance with statutory, tax, and regulatory requirements. Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, bankers, and regulatory authorities and Ensure timely completion of annual audits and submission of tax returns
