YOUR ROLE

We are looking for an experienced Director, Ethics & Compliance – APAC to lead our ethics and compliance function across the Asia Pacific region, based in Singapore.

Reporting to the Global Ethics & Compliance Director, you will provide strategic direction, governance and oversight of CEVA's ethics and compliance programme across APAC, while leading and developing our regional team.

As the principal ethics and compliance adviser to APAC senior leadership, you will provide independent, risk-based advice and constructive challenge on significant compliance, integrity and regulatory matters. You will also ensure global requirements are translated into practical and effective controls across a diverse range of countries, businesses and regulatory environments.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

Specifically, you will:

• Lead the development and execution of CEVA's Ethics & Compliance strategy across APAC, aligned with CEVA and CMA CGM Group policies, governance frameworks and global priorities.
• Act as the principal Ethics & Compliance adviser to APAC senior leadership, providing independent advice, constructive challenge and escalation on material compliance and integrity matters.
• Lead and develop the regional Ethics & Compliance team, establishing clear priorities and accountabilities while strengthening capability and succession across APAC.
• Oversee the regional Ethics & Compliance risk framework, including risk assessments, monitoring, assurance, remediation and reporting.
• Provide regional oversight of confidential reporting, Speak Up matters and Ethics & Compliance investigations, ensuring appropriate governance, independence and remediation.
• Oversee compliance due diligence and risk management relating to third parties, strategic transactions, mergers and acquisitions and other material business relationships.
• Drive effective implementation and continuous improvement of core compliance programmes, including anti-bribery and corruption, competition law, conflicts of interest, human rights, data protection, sanctions and global trade compliance.
• Partner with country, product, functional and business leaders to strengthen compliance awareness, address emerging regulatory risks and embed a sustainable culture of integrity and ethical conduct.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

You are a senior ethics and compliance professional with extensive experience leading compliance programmes within a complex multinational environment, underpinned by a tertiary qualification in law, business, compliance, risk, governance or a related discipline

You will also have:

• Significant experience leading multi-country ethics and compliance programmes and professional teams across different jurisdictions and cultures.
• Broad knowledge of contemporary compliance frameworks, including anti-bribery and corruption, competition law, conflicts of interest, human rights, third-party risk, data protection, sanctions and global trade compliance.
• Demonstrated experience advising senior executives, overseeing significant investigations and applying sound, risk-based judgement to complex regulatory and integrity matters.
• Highly developed leadership, influencing and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to provide constructive challenge while building credible and effective business partnerships.
• The ability to translate complex legal and regulatory requirements into pragmatic, business-ready solutions across diverse APAC markets.

A recognised legal qualification, professional certification in compliance, governance or risk, experience within logistics, supply chain or international trade, and/or fluency in an additional APAC language will be highly regarded.
