YOUR ROLE

The role will work closely with APAC and European teams as a key role in supporting CEVA's growth in spot business by improving pricing competitiveness, procurement efficiency, quotation quality, and automation capabilities. The initial focus will be Ocean Freight, with potential future expansion into Air Freight spot quotation and procurement activities.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

Specifically, you will:

1. Support the development and execution of CEVA APAC's spot quotation strategy, initially focused on Ocean Freight and later potentially expanding to Air Freight.
2. Analyze quotation and pricing performance data to identify bottlenecks, automation opportunities, and areas for operational improvement.
3. Coordinate spot procurement and pricing activities to ensure consistency between procurement costs, market conditions, available capacity, and customer quotations.
4. Develop methodologies to optimize sourcing decisions across multiple capacity channels, including spot market opportunities, contracted allocations, carrier commitments, BSA agreements, and digital procurement platforms.
5. Support the digitalization and automation of spot procurement and quotation processes, including API-based carrier connectivity and digital rate sourcing solutions.
6. Analyze quotation performance, margin achievement, win rates, and procurement effectiveness to identify areas for improvement.
7. Support additional transformation, pricing, and commercial excellence projects as assigned.

8. Support the improvement of MyCEVA and the Smart Index Rate solution

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in Freight Forwarding or logistics Industry
• Experience working with spot quotations and customer pricing within a freight forwarding environment.
• Digitalization of Pricing/quotation
