YOUR ROLE

 

We are seeking an experienced General Manager, Contract Logistics Operations to lead our NSW portfolio, spanning several sites across Western and Eastern Sydney.

 

Reporting to the Vice President, Contract Logistics Pacific, this role provides strategic and operational leadership across a diverse network of warehousing and on-site customer operations. You’ll drive safety, service excellence, customer satisfaction and commercial results while fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation and performance.

 

This is a pivotal opportunity for a people-centred leader who thrives in complex, fast-paced environments and is passionate about delivering operational excellence at scale.

 

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

 

Specifically, you will:

 

  • Provide strategic and operational leadership across seven CEVA sites in Western and Eastern Sydney
  • Champion Zero Harm and lead HSE culture, compliance and risk management across all operations
  • Drive operational excellence through consistent standards, labour optimisation and service quality
  • Own the full P&L, delivering revenue, cost and productivity targets across the NSW portfolio
  • Build strong relationships with key customers, governing performance through SLAs, QBRs and NPS
  • Lead and develop a diverse team of Site and Contract Managers, fostering engagement and capability
  • Manage contract governance, pricing discipline, risk and commercial performance
  • Partner with Business Development and Solution Design to mobilise new sites and transitions
  • Collaborate with HR, Finance, QHSE, Property and Ground Transport to align plans and deliver on commitments
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement and automation initiatives to enhance efficiency.

 

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

 

Our ideal candidate is an accomplished logistics leader with a track record of delivering results across complex, multi-site warehousing operations. You will also have:

 

  • Extensive leadership experience in contract logistics or large-scale warehousing with full P&L accountability
  • Proven ability to lead through others across multiple locations and customer environments
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen with a focus on performance improvement and cost-to-serve
  • Demonstrated success in building and maintaining senior customer relationships
  • Excellent people leadership, influencing and communication skills
  • A tertiary qualification in logistics, business, engineering or a related discipline
  • A collaborative, outcomes-driven approach with genuine passion for safety and operational excellence.

 

In addition to providing proof of work rights and suitable professional referees, progressed candidates will be required to undergo a medical assessment and national police check.
