YOUR ROLE  

• Mon-Fri, 5am to 1pm shift
• Base rate of $33.7266 / hour + 14.25% super 
• Role offered under the CEVA Logistics & Transport Workers Union National EA, the details of which can be found at fwc.gov.au.

We're looking for a driven and focused Yardperson to provide support within our compound and wharfside operations, at our Finished Vehicle Logistics facility at Port Kembla NSW.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

Specifically, you will:

• Organise and allocate vehicle loads for outbound transport 
• Transport vehicles off the wharf to the compound
• Scan cars into location
• Survey cars for scratches and damage
• Prepare vehicles for compliance plate installation ensuring all regulatory compliance requirements are met.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
 

Our ideal candidate is someone with experience in logistics operations.

You should also have:

• • A national Maritime Security Identification Card (or willing to obtain same on employment)
  • Current P2 or full driver’s licence
  • Confidence driving both manual and automatic vehicles
  • Good physical mobility and ability to work in a yard-based environment
  • Basic familiarity with smart devices and hand tools
  • Reliable and team-oriented approach
  • Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions (this is not an enclosed warehouse environment)   

In addition to providing proof of work rights and suitable professional referees, progressed candidates will be required to complete a medical assessment and national police check.
