Pay Range: $225,000 - $250,000.00

Start Date: May 1, 2026

End Date: December 30, 2028

 

YOUR ROLE

 

As a Project Director, you will lead the execution of highly strategic, complex, and large-scale operational initiatives supporting a premier global, multi-venue event. This role is accountable for driving cross-functional programs from concept through delivery—overseeing planning, design, and implementation across diverse operational areas.

 

You will serve as a key leader in ensuring seamless integration across teams, stakeholders, and external partners, delivering world-class operations aligned with organizational priorities, performance standards, and an ambitious global vision.

 

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

 

  • Provide strategic leadership and direction to cross-functional teams delivering large-scale operational programs
  • Drive alignment and execution through strong collaboration with internal departments, partners, and external stakeholders
  • Optimize resources, staffing models, and processes to meet critical timelines, budgets, and quality standards
  • Lead end-to-end project lifecycle management—from initiation through successful delivery
  • Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, including:
    • Clear objectives, scope, and deliverables
    • Detailed schedules and key milestones
    • Budget planning and resource allocation
    • Risk identification, mitigation, and contingency strategies
    • Work breakdown structures and execution roadmaps
  • Engage and influence stakeholders at all levels, proactively managing expectations and driving alignment
  • Partner with technology teams to define and implement systems that enable operational excellence
  • Establish and lead communication strategies, including executive reporting, status updates, and stakeholder briefings
  • Monitor performance metrics across programs to ensure successful delivery and continuous improvement
  • Identify, escalate, and resolve complex issues impacting timelines, operations, or stakeholder outcomes
  • Lead the development of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and training programs to ensure operational readiness
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies, regulatory requirements, and governance standards
  • Conduct post-project evaluations to capture insights, measure success, and enhance future delivery
  • Oversee coordination of large-scale, multi-site, and potentially global initiatives

 

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

 

Education & Experience                   

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Operations, Logistics, Supply Chain, Event Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 7–10 years of progressive experience in project or program management within large-scale operations, logistics, infrastructure, or complex environments
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant industry experience
  • At least 2 years of leadership or direct team management experience
  • Strong proficiency with project management tools (e.g., MS Project) and enterprise systems
  • Preferred
  • Project Management certification (PMP, CPM, or equivalent)
  • Experience supporting high-profile, large-scale global programs or multi-site operational deployments

  • Demonstrated ability to lead, develop, and inspire high-performing teams
  • Strategic thinker with a strong bias for execution and results
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate complex, ambiguous challenges
  • Advanced planning and organizational capabilities, managing multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
  • Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills across diverse audiences
  • Proven ability to influence, negotiate, and present at all levels of an organization
  • Experience thriving in fast-paced, high-visibility, deadline-driven environments
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project/program management tools
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to navigate complex team dynamics with diplomacy

 

Travel

 

Up to 40% travel, primarily domestic, with occasional international travel as required
