WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO ?
A - 3PL’s management :
-Enforces 3PL's Contracts, directly, or on behalf of Customer(s). Is globally in charge of the relationship between 3PL, customer & PRISM.
Being the dedicated contact for 3PL’s:
• to enforce the contract and report frequently about adherence of 3PL to its contractual requirements
• to support in solving structural operational issues, and failures to comply with specifications (IT, process, reporting, billing when needed)
• to manage escalations when regional governance has already tried and failed (4PL → 3PL)
• to centralize 4PL communication for all optimization and S.C improvement initiatives in relation with 3PL’s
-Monitoring 3PL’s performance by :
• implementing a measurement and follow-up system for 3PL’s kpi’s
• organizing and facilitating performance reviews (Monthly, Quaterly, Yearly Business Reviews when needed)
-Continuously improving by :
• checking the actions, jointly defined and planned, are well performed by 3PL’s, to correct any deviation (performance, data quality, operations…)
• defining flow optimization targets with 3PL’s
• facilitating a continuous improvement involvement by 3PL’s to generate savings for the contract duration
B - Procurement
-Manages at global level, a defined portfolio of 3PL’s:
• Providing recommendations in terms of 3PL strategy and selection to the customer,
• Defining a tender program for the contract duration, in relation with savings commitment and customer(s) requirements,
• Insuring customer(s) requirements are relevant with Prism internal regulation and legally applicable,
• Preparing and launching tenders on behalf of customer(s) : RFI, RFP, CFT, RFQ….
• Analysing & assess the received offers
• Awarding bibbers in accordance with customer(s) requirements
• Assisting managers in drawing up contracts with 3PL’s
• Managing 3PL's contract fulfillment on behalf of Customer (NDA, MSA, WPA, SLA, appendix, exhibits…) for relevant scope
• Managing some customer(s) “strategic” or “major” spote quotes
• Maintaining contractual coverage for “in-scope” activities, and terminating when needed,
• Maintaining contractual documentation on behalf of the customer
• Updating 3PL’s rates matrix within the defined financial/cost management tool
• Generate market updates and analysis to evaluate the market level and encourage the tenders in the suitable period
• Find, harmonize and communicate while regularly checking, the indexes by transport mode for market level & surcharges
C – Corporate
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with customer(s) procurement department and PRISM procurement services
• Support Transport operations by ensuring compliance of service providers with all customer’s contractual requirements levels (MSA, WPA, SLA…),
• Monitor 3PL’s implementation in relation with operations,
• Manage, influence and motivate staff in relation to network engineering and optimization
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR ?
• Master Degree in Supply Chain, International Trade, Economics, International Affairs or Equivalent.
• Good knowledge in overland, Air and Sea transportation.
• BSc/BA in Business Administration or relevant field; MSc/MBA is a plus
• Lean management knowledge is a plus
