YOUR ROLE

As the Test Manager – Manhattan Active WMS/OMS Deployment, you will lead end-to-end testing activities for CEVA’s multi-year deployment of Manhattan Active Warehouse Management System (WMS) and Order Management System (OMS) across 50+ U.S. warehouse operations.

This role is highly engaged in User Acceptance Testing (UAT), ensuring warehouse operations teams are fully prepared and that business processes are validated prior to go-live. You will also closely monitor System Integration Testing (SIT) and Manhattan unit testing to ensure defects are identified, triaged, and resolved efficiently before entering UAT.

The Test Manager will serve as the primary owner of test governance, execution quality, and readiness reporting across the program, partnering closely with IT, Operations, Manhattan delivery teams, and cross-functional workstreams.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

Test Strategy & Governance

  • Develop and manage the overall testing strategy, test plans, and execution framework for Manhattan Active WMS and OMS deployments.
  • Define test standards, templates, entry/exit criteria, and readiness gates for each test phase including unit testing, SIT, and UAT.
  • Establish testing governance routines, reporting cadences, and escalation paths aligned with program leadership expectations.

User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Leadership

  • Own UAT planning and execution across deployments, ensuring test coverage aligns to warehouse operations and customer-specific requirements.
  • Partner with site leadership, super users, and business SMEs to develop UAT scenarios covering inbound, outbound, inventory, wave planning, shipping, returns, and exception handling.
  • Coordinate execution schedules, user participation, training alignment, and test completion tracking to ensure successful UAT delivery.
  • Drive UAT sign-off readiness by ensuring business stakeholders validate system performance and process execution prior to cutover.

SIT and Unit Testing Oversight

  • Closely monitor SIT execution, ensuring integration testing covers end-to-end workflows across WMS, OMS, ERP, transportation systems, parcel shipping, EDI, and customer platforms.
  • Review and validate Manhattan unit testing progress to confirm readiness for SIT and downstream UAT execution.
  • Ensure test environments, data setup, and integration connectivity are stable and aligned with the testing schedule.

Defect Management & Resolution Leadership

  • Lead defect triage sessions, ensuring defects are categorized appropriately, prioritized correctly, and resolved within program timelines.
  • Coordinate issue resolution across Manhattan delivery teams, IT integration teams, operations SMEs, and external partners.
  • Track defect trends, root causes, and systemic issues to reduce recurring failures across future deployment waves.

Test Reporting & Deployment Readiness

  • Provide weekly and milestone-based reporting to the Program Director and leadership stakeholders on test progress, defect status, risks, and go-live readiness.
  • Maintain dashboards and execution scorecards for SIT and UAT completion, defect aging, and testing throughput.
  • Identify risks early and recommend mitigation strategies to protect deployment schedules and operational readiness.

Continuous Improvement & Standardization

  • Capture lessons learned from each deployment and improve test scripts, test coverage models, and execution playbooks for future waves.
  • Standardize UAT processes across sites to enable repeatable and scalable testing execution across 50+ warehouse operations.
  • Support operational adoption by ensuring testing results drive process improvements, training updates, and readiness planning.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field required.
  • Minimum 7+ years of experience in testing leadership roles supporting WMS, OMS, or enterprise supply chain technology deployments.
  • Proven experience leading User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for warehouse operations or fulfillment implementations.
  • Experience coordinating System Integration Testing (SIT) and validating end-to-end integration workflows across multiple systems.
  • Strong preference for experience with Manhattan Associates WMS/OMS (Manhattan Active experience highly preferred).
  • Demonstrated experience supporting multi-site implementations within a 3PL, contract logistics, or distribution environment.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong understanding of warehouse operations processes including receiving, putaway, replenishment, picking, packing, shipping, inventory control, and returns.
  • Experience managing test governance including entry/exit criteria, readiness gates, and test execution reporting.
  • Strong working knowledge of system integration methods including API, EDI, middleware, and batch interfaces.
  • Proficiency in defect lifecycle management and test documentation practices.
  • Familiarity with testing tools and defect tracking platforms such as Jira, Azure DevOps, HP ALM, or similar systems.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical issues into business impact for operational leadership.

Leadership & Problem-Solving

  • Highly organized leader able to manage competing priorities across multiple sites and deployment waves.
  • Strong ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority.
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced deployment environments requiring structured execution and strong accountability.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality, repeatability, and operational readiness
