YOUR ROLE
The General Manager will lead the creation, launch, and scaling of our refurbishment centre capability. This is a unique opportunity to shape a market-leading proposition, driving strategy, investment, operational design and commercial success based at our site in Upper Heyford.
You'll lead a high-profile, cross-functional programme, bringing together operations, commercial, finance, IT, property and business development teams to deliver a best-in-class refurbishment centre that will support significant business growth.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of the refurbishment centre, from business case and investment approval through to successful launch.
- Develop the commercial strategy, operating model, financial plans and long-term growth roadmap for the proposition.
- Build and manage strong relationships across senior stakeholders, leading a cross-functional project team to deliver against agreed timescales and budgets.
- Design a market-leading refurbishment solution, incorporating innovative technology, vehicle inspections, repair management, customer reporting and operational excellence.
- Partner with Business Development teams to create and deliver the go-to-market strategy, supporting customer presentations, commercial negotiations and new business opportunities.
- Drive financial performance by delivering ambitious revenue and EBIT targets while establishing clear KPIs, governance and reporting.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We're looking for an experienced and commercially driven senior leader with significant experience across OEM, leasing, daily rental, refurbishment, remarketing or the wider automotive sector.
You'll have a proven track record of launching or transforming operations, developing compelling business cases and commercial propositions, and leading complex cross-functional programmes from concept through to successful delivery. With strong commercial and financial acumen, you'll be confident owning P&Ls, driving revenue and profitability, and using data and insight to inform decision-making and continuous improvement.
