WHAT WILL YOU BE RESPONSIBLE FOR?
The Chief Financial Officer, Eastern Europe, is responsible for leading the finance function across the Eastern Europe perimeter, ensuring strong financial governance, performance management, compliance, and decision support for the business.
The role is responsible for overseeing financial planning and analysis, accounting, controlling, cash management, risk management, and business partnering activities, while supporting profitable growth, operational efficiency, and alignment with regional and group finance standards.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
- Lead the finance function across Eastern Europe, ensuring effective financial management, strong governance, and alignment with CEVA’s business strategy and financial objectives.
- Act as a strategic business partner to Products, providing financial insight, challenge, and support in decision-making, investments, business cases, and performance improvement initiatives.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis processes across the perimeter. Ensure timely, accurate, and actionable reporting of results, trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Monitor and improve financial performance, including revenue, gross margin, (R-EBIT), cash flow, and cost productivity. Drive corrective actions where performance deviates.
- Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of financial reporting, management reporting, and statutory reporting, in line with internal policies and external requirements.
- Ensure compliance with CEVA policies, accounting standards, tax and legal requirements, internal control frameworks, and audit expectations across all countries within the scope.
- Lead cash flow visibility and improvement actions, with strong focus on receivables, payables, customer credit risk, credit limits, collections, bad debt prevention, and working capital optimization across the business.
- Identify, assess, and manage financial risks related to operations, commercial activity, investments, tax, compliance, and business continuity.
- Lead, develop, and coordinate finance teams across the Eastern Europe perimeter. Build strong capabilities in controlling, analysis, reporting, and business support.
- Drive finance process standardization, automation, reporting improvements, and performance management tools to enhance efficiency, transparency, and decision quality.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
- Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or equivalent. Fluent in English.
- An asset: CPA, ACCA, CIMA, MBA, or equivalent professional qualification. Additional Eastern European languages.
- Significant senior finance leadership experience in an international, multi-country environment. Proven experience in FP&A, controlling, financial reporting, business partnering, and team leadership. Strong experience supporting operational and commercial decision-making.
- An asset: Experience in logistics, supply chain, transport, or contract logistics. Experience in matrix organizations and transformation environments.
- Strong knowledge of financial planning, management reporting, internal controls, accounting principles, compliance, and business performance management. Strong analytical and financial modelling skills. Good understanding of cash flow and working capital drivers.
- An asset: Experience with ERP, BI, and finance transformation tools. Exposure to M&A, post-merger integration, restructuring, or shared service models.
- Strong leadership, high level of business acumen, ability to influence senior stakeholders, challenge constructively, and communicate complex financial matters clearly. Strong decision-making and problem-solving capabilities.
- An asset: Change leadership, cross-cultural management, and executive presentation skills.
Frequent travel across Eastern Europe may be required.
