Outbound Operator

YOUR ROLE 
At CEVA Logistics, we believe that logistics is the heartbeat of global trade. We're looking for a hands-on and detail-oriented Outbound Operator to join our dynamic team at our warehouse in Zaandam. In this critical role, you’ll be responsible for the full handling process of aircraft engine parts from incoming goods to outbound shipments. You'll work with precision and care, ensuring everything is compliant and certified, while keeping close contact with both our customers and suppliers. As an Outbound Operator, you play a crucial role in ensuring aircraft engine parts are processed and shipped with the highest level of quality and care.

Your responsibilities include:

• Picking parts from racking using a forklift or reach truck
• Carefully packing parts into the correct boxes or crates, ensuring full protection
• Preparing and processing shipments in the system via freight forwarders
• Verifying certifications and documentation to meet the high standards
• Communicating with customers and suppliers to quickly resolve any issues
• Maintaining high standards in safety, quality, and accuracy at all times

WHERE WILL YOU WORK? 
You’ll be part of a tight-knit and committed team in a high-tech logistics environment. You’ll work for one of the world’s leading jet engine manufacturers for single-aisle aircraft. Even though you’ll be in a multi-customer site, you’ll join a dedicated aviation team, where collaboration and commitment go hand in hand. Working hours are from Monday to Friday, between 07:00 AM and 16:00 PM. 

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR? 

• MBO level 4
• Experience in logistics or a technical environment is a strong plus
• Experience driving a forklift or reach truck, or willingness to learn
• Good command of English (spoken and written)
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• A true team player who thrives in a cross-functional setting
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office

• A market-based salary between €2,545 and €3,000 depending on your experience and education; 

• A one-year contract with the prospect of a permanent position;
