Internship - Accounting & Analytics Controller

MISSION


Within the Group's Financial Department, the Analytical Controller trainee will assist the  Analytical Cost Monitoring and Accounting department in the production of monthly closings. He/she will also participate in the construction of a new reporting system and the adaptation of current work files to the new SAP tool.

 

In close collaboration with Management Controlling department and the other Financial Departments, you will participate in ensuring the validity of management business standards, justifying the accounting result, allowing the appropriate decisions to be made for the recognition of provisions.

 


RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

Under the supervision of the head of department you will participate: 

 

  • Reconcile the actual costs with the estimated costs and analyze the variances
  • Contribute to the construction of a new reporting system by collecting the needs of internal customers.
  • Contribute to the improvement and development of Finance tools and processes by collaborating on cross-functional projects.
  • Produce specific analyzes for internal needs.
  • Alert Management Control in the event of a risk and propose solutions.
  • Interact with the various Group subsidiaries around the world (processes related to intra-group transactions).

 

 

PROFILE AND SKILLS:

 

  • You come from a higher education type Master (1 or 2) in Finance / Accounting / Management.
  • You ideally have a first experience in management control
  • You master computer and office tools.
  • Your analytical mind and your sense of organization, combined with your open-mindedness and good interpersonal skills, will be assets to succeed in this position.
  • Your  French is fluent and your English operational
