YOUR ROLE

We are looking for a Customer Service Employee for our warehouse campus in Roosendaal. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers. You will handle all possible issues that arise in the logistics processes in a proper manner and maintain continuous contact with the customer to manage expectations. For this, you will constantly collaborate with your own department, the operation, external service providers, and the customer.

 

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

Our warehouse campus in Roosendaal consists of various buildings where we carry out logistics processes for different customers. In this role, you will serve a Japanese customer with retail stores in Europe. The other customer is an American spare parts producer. You will work in a diverse and international team with 7 direct colleagues. Together, you work to provide optimal service and create a workplace where every employee feels comfortable and has the opportunity to develop. Additionally, you will have frequent contact with other customer service employees serving another customer in the same brand-new facility.

 

You will:

  • Have extensive customer contact via email in English. Next to this, there may be calls directly with the customer and other partners.
  • Handle questions and complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Analyze process issues and provide the customer with efficient solutions.
  • Build a good relationship with the customer's logistics team and end customers.
  • Coordinate transport requests and Value Added Service assignments at the customer's request.
  • Ensure proper administration and prepare reports.
  • Analyze KPIs and initiate and execute improvement proposals.

 

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

You enjoy handling data accurately and have excellent administrative skills. You can maintain focus in a hectic environment and possess strong communication skills. You interact with customers regularly and do so professionally and adequately.

 

Additionally, you bring the following knowledge and experience:

  • MBO/HBO level of education;
  • Preferably, a few years of experience in a similar customer service/administrative role;
  • Experience within a logistics organization is a significant advantage;
  • Proficiency in MS Office and the ability to quickly adapt to systems; This includes good skills in Excel;
  • Good knowledge of the English language.

Additionally, we offer:

  • Employment conditions in accordance with our own CEVA collective labor agreement, including 25 vacation days, 5 ADV days, and an annual salary increase;
  • A salary between €2.593,66 and €3.400,00 (depending on your work experience and education level), with the opportunity for growth within the pay scale;
  • A one-year contract with the possibility of a permanent contract;
