SUMMARY
Handles start to finish import air and ocean shipments for customer base assigned by Supervisor or Branch Manager.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
•Conducts Import Security Filings within set timeline.
•Opens files using the dedicated software of the company.
•Works with overseas offices in the facilitation of cargo movement c/o Bollort? and Trans Service Line
- Issues receivables invoices to customers as per quoted pricing, contract, or tariff.
•Responsible for ensuring operational performance for assigned VIP accounts controlled under local sales responsible.
- Responsible for ensuring customer facing web tools (LINK) are updated accurately and timely.
- Responds to inquiries by email, phone within a timely manner.
•Work with branch management and operations to develop processes and solutions to further the scope of involvement with the customer and offer efficiency solutions to streamline the information flow for external customers.
•Utilize Excel in order to create rate tools, reports, streamline RFQ's, customer targeting, and data management.
•Reviews clerical documents within the department to ensure completeness, accuracy and timeliness.
•Prepares import activity reports for and by the guidance of the Branch Manager/Supervisor.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
2 years min. College Education required. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint.
