YOUR ROLE

Business Developer is responsible for developing new as well as maintain existing business with large local key accounts and small and medium accounts (SME) within his/her assigned geography. This position will evaluate the local market regarding potential customers and opportunities across all industry sectors with substantial requirements for Logistics Solutions focused on Ground & Rail products according to the given parameters.

  

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

  • Builds relationships and grows a list of key clients within the country, in line with the sales strategy, to offer the best logistics solutions.
  • Leads sales negotiations and adjusts strategy based on the situation.
  • Promotes and commercializes products and services on the market, focusing on large /medium potential clients and complex offers.
  • Analyses and monitors market (tendencies, methods, innovations).

 

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

 

  • High school or university degree in economics, marketing, international commerce or logistics area
  • 5 years experience within international freight, transportation and logistics industry
  • 3 years experience in sales with proven ability to develop and close new business opportunities
  • Very good communication and negotiation skills
  • Very good command of English (verbal & written)
  • Computer Skills (MS Office) and Sales Force automation tools
  • Self-motivation & ability to work on own initiative
  • Valid driver's license category B with willingness to travel as business demands
  • Very important: commercial acumen, customer-orientation
  • Important: leadership, performance management, analysis & judgment, teamwork
