YOUR ROLE

The Transportation Technology and Innovation Specialist will be responsible for driving innovation and implementing new technologies in transportation in coordination with different actors (Business, IT, customers …). This role involves having skills in project planning and coordination, good technical skills and monitoring new technology in transport and logistic sectors.

YOUR MISSIONS

1)  Identify and clarify the gaps/needs with business stakeholders..      

2)  Analyse and describe the different gaps and needs by highlighting the current situation and quantified impacts.       

3) Identify possible solutions :

• Internally: Is there an internal solution or an ongoing similar topic
•  In the market: Companies that offer suitable solutions.

4) Align with Cybersecurity to determine if the company could conduct a POC without putting the organization at risk.

5) Share the solution with the various stakeholders (business, IT, Innovation department) in all aspects (planning, costs, etc.).

6) Evaluate the potential gains by comparing the initial and future situations.

7) Help coordinate the delivery or implementation of the solution.

8) Provide feedback after deployment with key stakeholders.

9) Maintain the roadmap.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

Required Profile:

Student in Bac+5 – Master 2 level or 3rd year of an engineering cycle, with a preference for ENSAM but open to other profiles.
Specialization in Logistics & Supply Chain.
A strong interest in innovation is required.
Experience in driving innovation and implementing new technologies in the transportation sector is a plus.

Required Skills:

• Ability to work with complex data, particularly for analyzing transportation system performance and optimizing processes.
• Knowledge of transportation-related technologies (intelligent transportation systems, IoT, autonomous vehicles, fleet management, etc.).
• Proficiency with specific software tools.
• An understanding of transportation infrastructures and associated logistics may be an asset.

Languages:

Fluent in English (reading, writing, and communication with English-speaking colleagues).

Personal Qualities:

Organizational skills, critical thinking, and analytical abilities.

• This role may require occasional travel to meet with Business teams, suppliers, carriers, and clients.

• The Transportation Technology and Innovation Specialist will work in an office environment but may also need to visit warehouses and distribution centers.
