Pay range: $84,537 - $120,124
YOUR ROLE
Join our dynamic team and play a pivotal role in driving the success of our import department! You’ll work closely with the Branch Manager to streamline operations, enhance customer service, and boost profitability. Whether you’re leading initiatives personally or guiding your team, your efforts will ensure we achieve peak efficiency and operational excellence.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO
- Assist Operations and Middle Office Manager in implementing department policies and goals.
- Implement policy, program, or operations changes as directed.
- Develop resources for efficient workflow and plan office layout.
- Implement cost reduction programs initiated by Branch Manager.
- Process invoicing daily in line with company directives.
- Prepare and review SOPs and customer profiles with management.
- Ensure accuracy of JIAs and make necessary corrections.
- Prepare quotations for network, salesforce, and customers.
- Review and audit clerical documents for completeness and accuracy.
- Maintain contact with customers and vendors, ensuring timely transportation and processing of orders, monitoring customs clearance, and meeting customer reporting requirements.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Supervise 2-10 import team employees.
- Assist Branch Manager with team coordination and evaluation.
- Ensure compliance with policies and laws.
- Monitor team adherence to Code of Conduct.
- Promote company values.
- Plan and monitor team performance and development with HR.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR
Experience:
- Two to five years related experience and/or training.
Knolwedge/Skills:
- Proficient in reading and interpreting documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Skilled in writing routine reports and correspondence.
- Effective at speaking in front of groups of customers or employees.
- Capable of calculating figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume, and applying concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
- Adept at solving practical problems and dealing with a variety of concrete variables in situations with limited standardization.
- Competent in interpreting a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
