YOUR ROLE

As Lean Leader, you will be responsible for training and coaching in the field of Lean and help lead improvement projects and programs. With your passion and knowledge in the field of continuous improvement, you will bring colleagues within CEVA Logistics into this movement. You identify opportunities, optimize processes, coordinate initiatives and implement concrete improvements.

Based on the LEAN philosophy, you contribute to building an improvement culture and give our people the right tools to really make a difference for our customers. The Lean Leader is the facilitator who, together with other responsible colleagues, lifts the organization to a higher level.

You are visible within the organization and effortlessly switch between different levels within CEVA. Thanks to your analytical skills and proactive attitude, you can quickly see through processes and convince colleagues of your improvement proposals.

You are based in Waalwijk. You work closely with the national Continuous Improvement team, the support departments and the Operations & Site Managers.

 

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

You will be part of the Operations Excellence team within the bol. area. This team consists of driven specialists who focus on continuously improving processes, optimizing warehouse layouts and implementing innovations. As Lean Leader, you play a key role in this: together with your colleagues, you work daily to achieve the most efficient logistics operation possible.

In this dynamic environment, characterized by high volumes, fast throughput times and complex processes, innovation, customer focus and continuous improvement come together. Here, you get the space to make an impact, both with the team and in the operation.
 

In this challenging position, you will be responsible for:

  • Drawing up and rolling out a Site Lean plan within the operation;
  • Identifying, analyzing and implementing improvements together with the Operations Managers;
  • Creating a positive LEAN improvement culture within the organization;
  • Making the added value of Lean visible by presenting improvements achieved in a transparent way;
  • You coach operational managers in implementing a culture of continuous improvement;
  • You lead and coach improvement teams and support them in identifying waste. You analyse these and secure solutions using LEAN methodologies.

 

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR

You have strong organizational skills and have the talent and drive to build the improvement culture, to coach teams and individuals and together lift them to a higher level. With your analytical approach and helicopter view, you know how to quickly fathom processes and effortlessly keep an overview of complex improvement processes.

In addition, you bring the following knowledge and experience:

  • You have a completed bachelor or master degree, preferably in the direction of Business Administration, Supply Chain or Logistics;
  • You have at least 3 years of relevant (managerial) work experience;
  • You have demonstrable experience with the roll-out of Continuous Improvement techniques and with change and project management;
  • You have knowledge of Lean Six Sigma, preferably at least at Green Belt level;
  • You are fluent in Dutch and English, both speaking and writing.
