We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Customer Service Team Member / International Freight Fowarder (m/f/d) to join our 3PL team, specializing in new lane implementation for ocean freight operations originating from Belgium.

 

YOUR FUTURE TASKS:

 

  • Coordinate the implementation of new ocean freight lanes from Belgium, ensuring smooth operational setup and customer satisfaction.
  • Draft, review, and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) tailored to specific customer and lane requirements.
  • Manage first-level escalations and deviations, resolving issues efficiently and professionally.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers during the implementation phase, providing updates and proactive solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including operations and contract managers, to ensure alignment on goals and deliverables.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for process improvement.
  • Participate in and support day-to-day operational tasks as required to ensure seamless execution.

 

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

 

  • Proficiency in English (both written and spoken), Flamish is a plus.
  • Experience in ocean freight logistics, preferably within a 3PL environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to perform under pressure.
  • Demonstrated experience in drafting and managing SOPs.
  • Willingness to engage in hands-on operational work as part of daily responsibilities.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Team-oriented mindset with a commitment to supporting colleagues and achieving shared goals.
